Having more than 25 years’ experience in municipal and environmental law, Mr. Achim, lawyer, is a legal advisor to municipal organisations and educational institutions. His interventions are related to the Act Respecting Access to Documents Held by Public Bodies and the Protection of Personal Information, land use planning, expropriation, municipal taxation and property assessment, preservation of agricultural land and the enforcement of environmental laws. He represents his clients before courts or governmental administrative agencies.
Mr. Guy Achim also practices construction law mainly with public bodies, local and regional, and with educational institutions. His practice consists of legal review and interpretation of contracts, review of proposals and their conformity to the requirements of public tenders. An important part of his practice is to provide legal advice to managers and project managers throughout the construction process. He represents his clients before courts or governmental administrative agencies related to the construction industry. Mr. Achim joined Monty Coulombe, in 1982.
