Élisabeth Brière initially completed a bachelor of laws at Université de Sherbrooke (1990) before going on to earn a notarial law degree (1991) and a certificate in business administration (1993). In addition to her legal practice, she is also a lecturer at Université de Sherbrooke, a speaker and trainer for a number of organizations, and a member of several boards of directors.
Ms. Brière began her career with the offices of Sylvestre, Sylvestre in 1995. Today she specializes in personal, succession and real estate law. Her expertise is instrumental in enabling her individual and corporate clients to carry out their projects and achieve success.
Ms. Brière assists her clients with thorny matters ranging from estate settlements and will-writing to property sales and purchases and family mediation.
She leaves no stone unturned to protect her clients’ rights and properly represent them in non-contentious proceedings, such as adoptions and homologation of mandates.
Her involvement in several causes she cherishes is a reflection of her strong social dedication. Ms. Brière is grateful for the opportunity to pursue a career she is deeply passionate about, and strives to actively give back to her community.
