Ms. Bernadette Doyon, lawyer, practices municipal, environmental and administrative law as well as labour and employment law. She represents municipalities and regional county municipalities. In her work in municipal law, she deals with land use concerns, municipal democracy (council meetings, consultation meetings, and referendum), expropriation, municipal evaluation and taxes. In labour and employment law, Ms. Doyon is a negotiator for municipalities and regional county municipalities for cousin groups (white collars-blue collars) or for specialised groups such as firemen. She regularly presents arguments and submissions to arbitration boards, assists municipalities in maintaining pay equity and investigates complaints for psychological harassment.
Ms. Doyon is certified as civil and commercial mediator. Between 1984 and 1994, she was Quebec Municipal Affairs’ regional delegate for the Eastern Townships.
